Star garnet is one of nature's most quietly astonishing phenomena — a gemstone that carries a living star within it, visible only when light meets the stone at exactly the right angle. This rare optical effect, known as asterism, is caused by intersecting needle-like rutile inclusions locked in place millions of years ago.

Color: Deep burgundy to rich plum-red, with a velvety, almost fathomless depth. Turn the stone toward the light and a four- or six-rayed star glides across the domed surface — unique to this single stone, never to be replicated.

Energy: Star garnet carries the grounding force of garnet amplified by the cosmic symbolism of the star. It is considered a stone of protection, inner strength, and illuminated direction — guiding its keeper through darkness with a steady, centred light.
